we extract feedstock from biomass for the renewable fuel industry
We extract and refine animal fats for use as low-carbon renewable diesel feedstock. Renewable diesel is a pure synthetic hydrocarbon that is chemically identical to petroleum diesel fuel. Because of this, it can go directly into petroleum pipelines and the refining infrastructure. According to The California Energy Commission, renewable diesel has 58 to 80 percent lower greenhouse gas emissions than petroleum diesel.
